    'KINELL!!!!

What a story. Worth the read.

My wife was hospitalised on Lanzarote when we were on our hols in about '94. The hospital staff were c**ts then and they're obviously no different today. You get the message fairly quick that they don't like you.
After politely declining to sign consent forms (in Spanish only which I don't habla) and politely declining their DEMANDS to hand over our passports - (but gave our details/insurance etc) they called the cops who stood about 6 inches from me smiling, chewing gum with one hand on their batons. The nurse said we were 'abnormal' for not learning spanish - not much point if all we wanted to do was drink their beer and lay on their beach.

We haven't graced them with our custom since.
