Just a extract of my trip to Nordkapp, Norway in 2005.
This was the mountain road which has now been bypassed by sticking a bloomin long tunnel underneath, 24k I think.

Nice vid!
I see that the Norwegians don't let 6ft of snow close a road....
.....unlike the UK where 3 inches of it causes chaos.
See you got it sorted then Rolo.
Fantastic vid... thanks for sharing.

I was on that pass, on a car, two years ago, took me about 5 seconds to recognize it, thank you, great video.
I hope you turned left before that tunnel and took the small tight twisty road around itif thatīs the one Iīm thinking

Was that a patch of diesal on the corner? Must have felt like home when you hit that.

Sounds like the one, hang off left before the tunnel up the twisty mountain road then over the top passed the waterfall and end up at the ferry, magic, took the tunnel on the way back with the pretty lights, that was amazing tooOriginally Posted by Pete Rock

only I didnīt return by that way so I didnīt get to see the pretty lights.
Best tunnel ever, in my opinion is the one just getting to the NordKap, with the crude rock walls and the thick fog![]()
Didn't know the fog sign meant fog INthe tunnel, weird.............
