    Dyno'd then down't road....

Met up with Paul (24lb), between York & Malton.
After swapping bikes for a run, we headed past Castle Howard to Malton to Dynobike.

After a run ou the dyno, a quick fiddle it was time for the chippy then petrol before a run through past Levisham station, just past the station disaster struck....

Not only that, he rode straight through a bog in the process

Luckily no damage done, well apart from a little scratch - on his pride!!!!

I turned round when I saw the headlight sticking out of the grassy mire, to a lidless Paul, laughing heartily.

Trouble is Paul how exactly do you manage to crash on a well surfaced, empty, straight road???

My bike on the left, Pauls righted, muddy machine in the centre of the road, Paul in the distance on the left retrieving his kit..... The mind boggles!

    Phil

Yes when I saw the pictures being uploaded I was looking at them thinking how on earth do you crash a bike on an empty road with no hazards and no clue at all as to why its suddenly in a ditch!
Glad it survive with only a minor scratch though... those are the best crashes to have!

I had been following phil, enjoying some cracking scenery. I slowed down cause something had caught my eye and i wasnt sure what it was. I had moved over to the right of the road to have a better look, doing bout 20 mph and i got too close to the edge....The back slipped down the edge, so I steered into it. Got the bike in a furrow so gave it a fist full as i saw the bog, steered round it under full tilt to get through, but the dunlops are sheite in mud and it just spun up slipped sideways into the bog and became a slick. At that point the bike stopped and I put my foot down to have it slide, and slide, and slide away so i put the bike down as gently as I could. Took my helmet off and couldnt stop laughing at myself and what id done. Not a scatch on the bike but muddied up to the 9s. Lesson to myself.....Pay better attention.

Better still if no one had a camera - everyone knows if there are no pictures then it didn't happen
