Waiting for my MOT today I had a gander at the Kawasaki Versys. It's growing on me apart from the full frontal view.



Riding position feels very supermoto-like and no gubbins on the front of the motor to pick up road crap.

This was nice too.......... yum!


Nearly went to get my licence for some road tests but resisted as it could be expensive.

On to Chapel Porth, a cove with just a cafe. Lovely spot for a ciggy.


Next was Blue Hills, an old mining area. The track on the opposite cliff is the final special test in the Lands End Trial every Easter and this is the best viewing spot.

It was then that disaster struck. The tin foil on my sarnies had worn through as they bounced around in the top box. Cheese & pickle everywhere, I'll spare you a photo. I must prepare better in future, I'm sure the Yanks on Advrider will have a high-tech solution.

Spotted this beauty parked in a farm entrance on the way back, a Douglas.

Squeezie hooter and digital speedo, not so low tech after all!

Look like you had an intersting day out.... I too like the look of those Kwaks...... just cant see me on a 650 :GRIN: though..... wouldnt mind betting the the dispatchers will be gobbling them up tho....
