Wonderful day, lots of gorgeous ATs racing around a short enduro course.
Third pic is Roberto Boano, Dakar rider and winner of yesterday's event.

We need to organise one of these days here. Great pics
Whealie (Wing Commander, @ Airborne Division)
Two XRV750-M ('91) RD04s on J ('92) plates.
Laser Pro Duro, crash bars, bark busters, heated grips, GPS, topbox, Alu Boxes, Scotoiler, Starcom, ciggie lighters and XRV stickers.
For sure! As the Wing Commander of the @ Airborne Division you shouldn't have any problems with those hillsCivil Aviation might not be best pleased though.

Can't help but think that our meeting might involve a little bit more mud though. Does anybody know of a disused quarry we could use?
BTW, brilliant pics Breeze! Thanks for posting
Yeah that's the problem over here. We have a drought then it basically rains for eight months.
We've just had about three weeks of sunshine and the local park is nearly dry again and then we get set for a week of snow.![]()
You can see the dry drit and dust flying from the wheels in Breeze's pics. You'd have pics of us being pulled out of the mud in the UK.

Cool pics and report dude, think alot of us would end up breaking more than just our bikes though![]()
Well maybe when the annual meet location is debated over, this sort of thing should be allowed for! There must be locations where we can go on ride outs & mini enduros like this.

Here's another one of me in a more relaxed situation than the first of the pics previously posted!
Guys believe me, this was so much fun!
Try to organize it in the UK somewhere, I'm sure you will be able to find a quarry or something.
The course was not long, times ranged from 1'17" (winner Boano) right up to over 2 minutes.
Speeds were kept low (1st and 2nd gear only) to avoid nasty accidents; lots of people fell off, nobody got hurt!
In the pics you can't see it, but part of the track was in very sandy terrain with big holes and ruts.
Tricky cornering in that situation required throttle partially open at all times, otherwise stalling and falling was the result.
Over 50 riders meant 1 hour free practice early morning, then three single lap races and a final for the best 10 riders.
If a single lap race seems like child play (I thought so too), I can assure you after the second heat of laps most of us were ready to call it a day!
The AT is a big and heavy whale!
Everything ended by 4.30 pm and off we went to fill up our stomachs.
70 people eating away and teasing each other about lap times and various other misfortunes!![]()
Come on XRV.org.uk, I want to see pics of your race day!![]()
