    First enduro on a TA

Well, all the good luck I was sent obviously worked! Today was a good day, I think I managed 9 laps, got stuck 3 times, fell off big time 3 times, once into the stream, broke (so far discovered) the front brake lever, fitted new one and lots of other stuff.

Just a bit achy at the mo, arm bruised through pretty good armour, but a satisfying day. Hopefully I'll track down some photos.

Must just say the club marshals were wonderful, pulled me out when the ruts got deep and the bike sat on the belly guard (3 times), picked the bike off me when it had me stuck under it and generally didn't mind me tootling around when all others where giving it some. I tried to keep out of real racers way but I think at times we were a rolling road block!

    Good times though!!!!

Re: First enduro on a TA

Results are out -No 67 (Me!) 110/130 starters, including the 20% penalty, thats OK , given the amount of lost/trapped/repairing that went on! Aparantly there was another TA there, according to the results, but I didn't see it. (No 69)

    Piccys of the TA:

Lots of the other photos are worth a look too, 'specially the stream ones.

    There's a good report here - http://www.redbikejohn.com/Chiltern%20Race%201.htm
    He had an excellent result.
