A little run into the hills . .

    Lowflyer & I decided to go for a little ride today . . .

Started off well in a little sand pit with Lowflyer getting some riding tips from some locals . .

He eventually gets it all crossed up . . .

    And I . . . . . don’t!

Something tells me his head hurts

And before Lowflyer fills in the gaps, I managed to drop my @ as we left the quarry. Now tell me, why did I sell those engine bars to Lowflyer?

Bit of history at the small church @ Croick which was used for shelter during the highland clearances

Then some nutter suggested that we visit a local bombing range . . .

    Lowflyer, can you hear ticking?

As you can see, the weather was very kind to us, with only the end of the return trip to Inverness attracting any rain. Great day out and hopefully not the last before the years end.

Great day out for a last minute thing. My head was absolutely thumping due an over indulgence of the Famous Grouse whilst watching the Scotland v Italy game on Saturday.
Once I got stuck into that venison burger and black coffee, I was as right as rain.

Thanks for the visit to the range Steve, it was totally awsome.

Hope your bike doesn't cost a BOMB to repair

Glad you enjoyed the day out, cos I did even with the little spill.

Bike was in bits before 9pm last night. Most of the front panel is back together, tank mount & indicator stalk straightend. Just got to get busy with the repair material to strengthen everything up.
So begins the winter strip down, service & re-build

My version of battle damage reapir - with duct tape

PS - the TA is always ready for another ride out - can you get a pass for the 21st?
