    Re: The Whiskey Trail

ha speaking of whisky here is one of my favourite route.....

A944 from Alford into the mountains, left at Mossat then A97 to the Lecht Ski resort... ( wild and windy, )..down the lecht road to Tomintoul ( bacon roll at the Old Fire station ), back via Dufftown & Cabrach to the A97, right then home

get a map out and check how many names ring a bell ..
cold and slippy this time of year but worth it

    What a great thread
Any chance of putting the location of each distillery (for those of us that are too lazy to look them up....)

    Re: The Whiskey Trail

Hi raymo. I was up on the Lecht on New Years day & know the route you describe well.

Phil, I'll put in the locations and if possible a link to the whiskey trail web site for the particular distillery.

Lowflyer. NO PASSENGERS - On account of the increased wobble factor brought on by wobble juice consumption by said passenger.

And NO, I'll not just bungy you to the seat so's you dont fall off - I dont have big enough bungies
