On a freezing weekend, a couple of dozen members decided to rise the breadth of the country for a laugh.


At the Sarn Services, near Bridgend, RV point for for groups from S Wales and E England. Here are DaveS and Lord Vader, laughing despite the pain he was in.

What a bloody fantastic weekend, just got in now left the northern lot about 2 hours ago in St Davids and a hour ago for the southern lot at Camarthen.

Boo hiss! I was up at 6, frozen in a minibus to Harrow (could have ridden the bike to Wales in the same amount of time - and been warmer), frozen on the balcony of a sports centre watching indoor cricket. At least my son won so makes it to the final - the Lewisham girls team lost on a run-rate count back it was that close.
Looks like you had more fun than me though.

It was the Welsh way of stopping the Germans invading.
Unfortunately he was persistent and didn't let a little thing like a car running over his foot stop him.
