    aaah, memories.....student....plymouth poly....mushrooming on dartmoor....Plume of Feathers Princetown......Peter Tavey inn......Forest Inn at Lutton......Royal Oak at Meavy......Dartmoor In Merrivale...... (oops get away from the Pub)......field trips to Wistmans Wood (at one time I could told you the Geography of the area).......Burrator Reservoir.... Farm cider 5p a pint. Yes great times, great place.

    National Meet is there isn't it.

    Cheers all for all your comments, twas a good ride.
    The national is gonna be cool when most of you come down. I am lucky living where I do (just hope I can stay where I am) and try to enjoy it as much as possible.

    yes but it was far far too long ago and I haven't been round those parts for 20+ years now. Cider at 5p a pint came from corner shop just off Mutley Plain (can't remember name of road) run by an Indian. Provide your own plastic bottles, and to be honest I had tasted petrol that was more palatable, but at 5p a pint and being a student I didn't care. Also meant you could gatecreash just about any student party with a couple or 3 gallons of the stuff and be welcome....... until anyone tried to drink it. Definitely an acquired taste. I tried it on cornflakes once, as you do
