Found a brilliant road(?) the other day. It goes from Osmotherly (just off the A19, N. Yorks), right over the top of the moors and then down into Bilsdale and comes out at Laskill, halfway along the B1257 (which is the infamous "Helmsley TT" so be careful if it's a sunny Sunday 'cos it'll be full of weekend warriors)
Steep hills, hairpins, fords, the full bifter and sometimes it was hard to tell if there was actually tarmac under all the clarts and I actually got me shiny new bike muddy.
Of course this is nowt compared to what the lads & lasses on here do but to an ex-sportsbiker it was quite adventurous .......... and I loved it
