Recent holiday: Norway-Sweden-Poland-Germany-Belgium.

Couple of pics I'm happy with.

Cracking hairpin bends and down the miles of logging roads in the Harz mountains, Germany where nobody gives you any hassle!!!

I stayed at Celle last Easter and had a few days around the Harz mountains and loved it. Some of the higher areas still had snow on parts of the road which made it interesting, my uncle on a HD Roadking had to take it easy for fear of grinding and having an hernia.

Next time you're over let me know a blast in the Harz is a day out for me, but always better in a group, the power rangers and pan-euro riders don't like it if I mention tracks so we only do roads,

Hi Niceguy/Snaphappy,

Yes i agree it is a great little playground!
Snaphappy we came in from Stettin,Poland towards Berlin then got on the back roads towards Braunlage. The bike hotel is in Bad Grund and from there Simon took us out and about all day. Sorry not sure where we were! I was too busy enjoying the roads! Unless you can identify, pic shows lunch stop. Very traditional.

Dont get me wrong, Poland has some beautiful countryside and the people were v.friendly but the roads which have'nt recieved the european money are bumpy, rough (wife was on a speed triple) and once you get stuck behind a slow wagon there doesnt seem to be any way past it!!
Only stayed there one night so perhaps unfair.
