The question is, did he get stopped cos' the police wanted to look at his bumber? Or, did he get stopped because he was driving in the cycle lane? The Dutch take that sort of thing very seriously.

Actually the dutch Police appear to be the nicest police men i have met in my travels around Europe, ok i never got on the wrong side of them but they are very helpful,
