Well a call from Boboneleg led to a ride with Ogri and Fred (XRMad) so I met up with Bob and off we set.
Ogri on his Concrete mixer, Fred on his XR400, Bob on newly aquired DR350 and Ken (?? I think but a nice fella) on a BRP and myself on the XR 400 with comfier seat (Thank God) and changed gearing to allow a faster road speed !!!!!
We set off from Nelson
Then it was various lanes and roads many I have done and some I have not done but either way the camera was not out often as, I was invariably trailing behind.
Luckily the weather seemed to shine on us as we headed to Llandovery for a cuppa.
From there we took beautiful roads and trails to Tregaron
With the day gettin on we found a fantastic deceptive puddle that nearly saw the BRP sunk but all was aved by quick thinking
Then we said our good byes to Bob in Sennybridge and did our last few miles home, by this time I was knackered and the trails felt tough.
The beer tasted good at the end of the day
Great day out that totalled 185 miles of dualsport speed
Had virtually every terrain possible bar bog and was I would say 66% road 33% trail. Great stuff if tiring.
Cheers to the guys for the invite
Well done to Bob for riding from Bristol and home afterand for being my rear gunner with me so I didnt feel quite so overwhelmed
