    Llobregat river

    Hi folks;

    Nice attempt to follow the last 40 kms of Llobregat river, which dies almost in Barcelona. We went with my pal's Dommie and my TA. Beautiful day, splendid weather (ah, spring eventually arrived ). Nice twisty roads until the beginning of the track, in Rellinars. After smoking a fag in the ruins of an old peasant farm, we headed towards Monistrol, where we could join the riverline. After a long while we had to continue by some 10 kms of road, and then again off roading until, far away from the end of the planned track (the sea!) we stopped because I felt the clutch working weird: it was starting to break (you know, when some of the threads were already loose). Tried to find a road, and back to Barcelona by highway shifting as little as possible. Here are the few pics we shot:

    My pal's, from this onwards-> Álbumes web de Picasa - suz - Primavera 09

    Re: Llobregat river

    well, actually I had the very same on my TA, but the difference is that I drive a bigger and heavier bike and I'm very aware and always in alert. He drives the Dommie so he thinks he's gonna fly over puddles and everything. Eventually he learnt that mud is hard for everybody!

    BTW, the Dunlop k760 work great in all cirmcumstances, but in mud you always have to care. I did part of the same track last week with my worn out Tourances and slided way more than yesterday.
