Re: rhyader weekend mud snorkelling campionship

Glad to hear it's all mendable Paul. A big thanks to everyone else who nursed me through on my unintended slick rear tyre. Mind you, I said from months ago that I'd be on a Tranny and looking for some gentle laning: deep, Welsh bogs were never going to be a good idea!

Still, the bike didn't miss a beat, and beat some sports bikes through the twisties on the A44 on the way back. What a stunning all-rounder!

    A great day! Thanks again,

    Philip

Tell me young Terry (how are you by the way?), in the vid there are some small wet stones that alll the bikes are really having a problem getting any grip, front or rear, on until they drop into a puddle afterwards. About 3:00 minutes in and 3:26 especially. What the hell are they, it looks worse than ice?
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

Yen the only way to describe it was riding on marbles. It was bits of granate balls covered in moss with no adhesion in them at all. Even the XR's and Trickers were all over the place on them

Thanks to ALL who organised and attended, it was a cracking day out
Special thanks to Stanbloke for having the idea, J for leading and Cabbage for being tail end Charlie all day long
    So say all of us!

How the Hell you didn't go head-first into that bog Terry, I shall never know. I was wet enough thanks, without falling over laughing!
