Northern France

[Treadtrader]

Arrived back from a tour round the northern French coast Sunday night. Never been to this area before but well worth a repeat trip just to spend more time doing the tourist bit at Normandy, so much history!
Fist night stopped in Arromanches, 2nd Quintin 3rd Crozon 4th Quiberon last Dinard.
Lots of good roads riding round the coast




Nice hotels too

As you can see the @ was well represented with a Superten TDM850 and a VFR800.

Nice that area is it not, i like Crozon good pizzeria there by the roundabout on the way out too camaret, stop there on the way out or back from Camaret with the truck and grab a pizza sometimes , did you venture down to Camaret nice little fishing town, we deliver crabs too viviers de camaret /viviers henry down on the port

Good question Merv but on the days i was'nt leading i was lost
Just enjoying the ride.
It's a great area as you say and worth another look sometime. But came out really expensive due to exchange rates. We looked around for cheap lunchstops everyday, found this one in a little town market somewhere...

find a truckers restaurant with loadsa trucks outside, they are the places to eat 11/12 euros for a good feast generally,
