    A Run up to Braemar

A beautiful day up here today .. In fact a Idea day to go for a run,.. excuses made to the wife. I was off in a flash..

Choose the back route up Deeside .

I came across something unusual on the road....

First stop. Sat here by this farmers ford, watching the trout.. Saw quite a few for such a sunny day..

Pushed on , up to Birse and stopped off at the War Memorial to pay my respects and got a few shots of the bike..

    Arrived at Braemar (Hungry Highlander)
And sat for about an hour, chatting to a guy from cupar.
It was quiet for 20 minutes, then we were surrounded by bikers.

My poor TA was lonely .. Surrounded by all sorts of sports bikes..

At 5.30 followed some guys back in the road to Aberdeen.. But with their super bikes , I could not keep up.. so I detoured at Balmoral Castle and took the lovely back road back to aberdeen.

Big Smile when I got home..

Maybe you should've crossed that ford instead?
