Got back from the ITT in Bavaria on Tuesday night what a great trip I had.
Left Arran on 20th of May rode to Newcastle took the ferry overnight to Holland then rode to Bavaria about 550 miles in about 8.5 hours arriving at the ITT about 7pm put up my tent and headed for some food and beer.
On Friday decided to take the longest tour which was through the Bavarian forest then on to the Czech Republic to visit an old historic town I think called Kromlov the name might not be right because its different in German than in Czech, we had a tremendous days riding on fantastic roads.
Saturday it was time for another tour this time we stayed in the Bavarian forest more fantastic roads and scenery we visited a nature park , a snaps distillery and a beautiful café in the mountains where I had the best cheesecake I have ever tasted another great days riding.
Back at camp it was time for the BBQ and closing ceremony with fireworks.
Sunday up early to pack up my tent before breakfast.
Will eating breakfast I asked if anyone new a good place to visit and camp near the Dutch border when one of my German company ons from the day before tour offered me a bed for the night at his house which I happily excepted.
So after breakfast we set of to a town just outside Onsnabruk called Dissen.
After a long hot day we arrived at my host lovely house were we had pizza and looked at many photographs of his many Transalp adventures.
Monday I only had 2.5 hour ride to the ferry so I took a scenic rout through Holland arriving at the ferry in good time.
Tuesday arrived back in Newcastle after a good nights sleep on the ferry and rode home in time for tea.
This was my first proper trip away on my Alp as I've only been riding for just over a year and a half and it was fantastic.
Here are a few pictures as my words don't do the trip justice
