Re: Ride report - The Longest Day 2009

Fantastic report James - especially amused by my apparent sex change at the start .

I loved being walked back through the day, wobble by wobble, and reminded of how grateful I was for the unsolicited protection and to find out what the bloody hell you were doing with that car on the road to Troon.

It's a good event when five days later you still can't stop smiling .

God James, I hated every minute of your report

It reminded me of just what I had missed out on

Seriously good read, It was great for me to watch and greet every one of you as you all returned home safely.
I only hope is that both finances and health allow me to take part in next years event

Perhaps all the G summit leaders should do a ride out before the next meeting!

Re: Ride report - The Longest Day 2009

Great write up, James.

I'm guessing by now that you've realised that that "The North Circular" is cockney slang for "The North Circular" (The north bank side of the smaller circular route that preceded the M25)......

Made me realise what I'd missed......

Thanks for taking the trouble to write it.
