i offered to lead a group from sussex who were travelling over on the saturday(27th) to spend a week tooling around wales.they've been blessed with the weather thats for sure.

anyway,met them by the llwyn onn res. to start the ride.we headed through ystradfeltte.



then onto trecastle to do the roman road before fuelling in llandovery.met a chap with a lovely xr650 and theres a good chance i'll have it.

quick blast to lynn brianne and we got off-road again.

then onto claerwen.





the boys really enjoyed it but by now the heat was gettingto us.luckily elan visitor centre is just down the road.once we had eaten we continued onto a great little lane thats drops you onto the newbridge to beulah road.lovely tarmac again from here to our next off-road stretch.

excellent ride i must say.fred(xr mad)has as usual,found some cracking new roads and it was enjoyed by all.the sussex lads were great company and i hope they come over again before the summer is out.

thanks phil.we went pretty steady as one of the chaps was a new guy at it.once we went our seperate ways at talybont we did get a move on.it was 6.30 and we had an appointment at the dog inn.

bought the weakest spring dellawful list.uknowingly put up with that "thing" in there for years.with the new spring and uprated clutch springs and minus the extra steel someone added to the clutch pack the bike now feels much nicer to ride.
