    Ubley Drove 27 June 09

I took over 480 photos last Saturday. Admittedly most of those were just of grass and dust flying up as the bikes sped past too quickly for me to catch!

I arrived to find most of the guys relaxing under the gazebo DaveS had brought to protect from the rain! What rain? It was sweltering!

    TenDays, AlanH and DaveS.

    Spades and HondaXRNut

    The lads.

    DaveS

DaveS did loads of great wheelies for the camera, but I caught only a few in frame. Sorry mate!

    AlanH

I got LOADS of photos of AlanH. Why? Because he's such a camera tart!

In the last Ubley Drove thread I mentioned "endos". I have to show this one!

    TenDays

Not many pictures of Tendays though.

I'll trawl through the folder and see if there are any others.

    HondaXRNut

HondaXRNut has superb bike control. Get his wheelies:

I missed a beautiful jump up onto a ridge just after this.

    Spades

Spades enjoyed putting in lap after lap on his dual-purpose XT660r.

    Trials bikes

The lad with the crazy DT125/moped/scrap metal bike who showed everyone up last time runs out of fuel at the bottom of a hill. Ah, schadenfreude is a terrible thing. (Actually he's a really nice kid.)

    This lad helps him out.

Towed up a steep slope, around a corner and...

the tow rope pulls him over!

Once again, the trials bike boys show everyone else how it should be done.

Guys, if you want a CD-ROM of the originals (at full resolution) it'll cost you a mere £5 donation to Make-A-Wish Foundation via The Longest Day web site: The Longest Day 2009 - Edinburgh to London...the long way round

Use the Just Giving link then send a PM to me with your postal address!
