hi i like the look of your XR with the hard cases on there and i am wanting to do similar to mine, any chance of more pictures of the rack you used/made with the mounting points used? and did you strengthen the rear sub frame?

Hi, it's an XL, but I can definitely make some pics one of these days. All that was added to the bike was a stainless steel luggage rack to replace the original (which is made out of gingerbread), and a rod that goes around the rear wheel and which the cases stand on.

XLs are easier to put cases on, because there is more frame present in the back of the bike. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by subframe.

although i could get up a hill he couldnt but he did tow some people out!

(but i am running 5psi on the rear)

it was total white-out on top of the moors!!
