2 Africa Twin's in an abbandoned mine... (In Portugal)

Hello everyone ..

First sorry for the porr english, It was a google translation and you know how automatic translations are.. Just try to make sense of it, or just enjoy the pictures... This was the first ride of 2010, and how to start the year! This time, the road map has led us to the south, leading us to end up almost 100kms from home ... Nothing special when you put together two Africa Twin's ... The day was cold .. In fact, let me write again.
Esta MUITO frio.
This VERY cold. When we left the house the thermometer-1c of and during the day, it was swaying from the 2ºc to the crazy temperature of 7c ...

After that, the cold, it seemed we where riding in Norway, and let me tell you that portugal is a lot far from it... .. Goddamn, that cold!

As always, the landscapes of these areas with this weather are out of this world.

It was restored in 1932 and replaced by the chapel, opposite the former home city, now also restored and transformed into a house of culture, where we took this picture and who does not want the thing, which had loads of people to look at because they were two Aliens bike riders there in the morning so early ...

Back on the road, nothing like going always wide-eyed to see the amazing things just waiting for anyone ...

The Africa Twin always in motion, in the middle of the small villages lost in the middle of nowhere ...
.. As well as on mountain roads, with more to follow cold ..

Mario, I have cold hands ..
Where is that cofee we made in marroco?

Right at the entrance of Arouca, cut just right, avoiding the Center of the City, and climbed, climbed and climbed a little up to the Chapel of Our Lady of Millstone. So it was good move up much. So the pointer in the temperature of AT's moved a little and has to make sure that was not damaged by even be glued down. I mention it was cold??

This chapel is located about 8kms from Arouca and 710metros altitude. They say it may date from the sixteenth century and from above, may be seen throughout the valley of Arouca, Montemuro mountains and the summit of the S.
Macário na serra de Montemuro.
Macarius the Montemuro mountains.

The valley of Arouca ...

There was no ice in the area, which allowed us to ride more relaxed ...

Do you see
Mario in the midlle of the picture?

But here is beginning to show signs we were looking for ...

Imagine a lunar landscape and no one anywhere ..Noise, only the wind and the tinkling of the warning signs of some goats on the mountain ...

can see us both in the picture here in the crowd of tourists with cameras to chest??

Here Mario to score a goal worthy of the World Cup...

Jorge - "Is this the restaurant where we were going to have lunch?"
Mário – “
ups ..
Houston, we have a problem”…

From here, there is little to say, so let the pictures speak for themselves ...

we make a stop here so you can go to the bathroom ...I will post the rest of the trip as soon as I have it ready...
