Snow and ice in Wales

Met up with a few lad's from ADVrider for a camping / trail riding weekend in North Wales this weekend.
Although i must admit i borrowed a van to sleep in rather than the tent.
Arrived fri night for a laugh in the pub, then kip in the van, it was a bit nippy calling for extra blankets and thermals.

Breakfast was laid on in the pub then we were off to the trail's, the lower trail's were icy and the higher trails had snow drifts making a few of them impassable.

Getting used to it now, . . . . compared to the XR600, its a bit lighter/better balanced, the steering's a bit twitchy, the power delivery is really smooth and does'nt break traction so easy, . . but by far the biggest plus is the electric boot

we had plenty of snow here in yorkshire to.

It's the first time in years we had to turn back
