Day 1 three intrepid explorers set out from good old Blighty to see what the Elephant Rally was about, this is the proper elephant not he warm one at the Nurberg ring.
2 mighty GSA'S and a Yamaha Tenere, all led by the dark Lord Vader.







We rode through France, Belgium a spot into Holland then Germany, fuel costs where a concern but more important I pay for a leak 50cents a peiss at this rate I we skint.
Temperature started dropping in Belgium from plus 4 down to plus 2. when we crossed the border in to Germany our toes started o chill as the temp dropped down even more and snow was visable on the roads and hills

The first people we talked to on route was 4 Welsh side car drivers from Barry in south Wales (small world) they weren't related.








we found a very nice KTM




on arrival there was abit of white stuff



and we had to carry the kit 2k to the camp site.





as you can see its still Snowing. and did I say SOLLA is on to of a 3 km steep hill.

Yam boxes make crap sledges.
