Tavistock -- remember it well on the National 08.
    Lovely little place, great pasties
I think Geoff tried to put me off going there for some reason ????

Anyways, great report, glad you managed to gel with the AT

Great report and cracking pics, you should have given everyone a heads up, you might have had company coming out of the woodwork (or from under the tors!) L.E. like most places of its ilk is major tourist crap, last time I was down there I rode till just before you have to pay!!! then did a u-ey and cleared off to one of Cornwalls other great delights.
I suggest you did the wrong part of Exmoor, pick the right route and is cracking comp for Dartmoor (SW has great routes for 2 wheels)

Not sure what route we took through Exmoor but we went across from Barnstaple, think we might have hit the B3223 but not sure.. The roads itself were cracking, best roads of the weekend! But maybe we took a less scenic route as there wasn't as much to see as in Dartmoor. Thoroughly enjoyed it though, will probably end up heading back to Cornwall one day too as I love the coastal locations and coves etc. Still want to find a nice waterfall too!

All weekend I felt relaxed and my mind has never been as clear as when I was stood on the beach on my own at Sennen Cove watching some crazy surfers and the sunset. Now I'm back home I'm back to mind racing all over the place, not knowing what I want and being unable to relax all I thought about at work today was what I need to get for the bike for the next trip

    Wish I was back here

    Nice report there,

I could really do with a trip like that at the moment, it'll have to wait a few months though

Glad you enjoyed the trip Sparks! I only half read your report on BCF then had to do something else and forgot about it. I have to agree Sennon is lovely, my parents and my girlfriend had a good holiday last summer when we [read: my parents] rented a thatched cottage for the week in Sennon Cove it's self. Lovely place and nice and quiet! Glad to see you like the AT, I am tempted to get one but I am sure if I really want one, I don't what I want or need!
