It's not a case of whether we can fix it or not - it's more a case of how fixed would you like it?

    Re: Germany 2010 Ride report

    Ok now where was I

Ah yes Day 3 - Wednesday

Word of the Day as Geoff has pointed out Kipple

For those that haven't figured the Alan link yet, we spent the whole 10 days shouting "Alan" at each other when we wanted to attract attention, it ended up when you only responded to multiple shouts of "Alan, Alan, Al, Al, Steve"

We found it hysterical but we had consumed quite a bit of beer

OK Day 3, we had another little road trip. The plan was to go to the view point for the Lorelai on the River Rhine

On the way there Vader spotted a little road claiming to have an alternative view point.

All I can say is WOW

The road was a combination of sharp hair pins going up and up and up, then we arrived at a rather sandy car park where we abandoned our bikes and walked to the edge. Breathtaking views

There are some excellent photos of the ride up and down those roads on MoM's camera so hopefully he will post them later

We then stopped at a Truck stop for lunch, called Benno's and it is very highly recommended. Opposite the castle in the river just up from Rudisheim the portions were mammoth and food excellent. It was followed by complimentary iced coffees because we were bikers from the UK

This was our last day on this particular campsite. The next morning we packed up and prepared to move on to Mainz
