Looks real polished, shows Scotland and adventure riders at their best!

Any word of feedback from the Forestry commission? Be good to hear positive feedback and that more of this may be available.
No problem Jim , I will keep a stock of them in my topbox

Galloway Forest 2011 - where do I book?

Now, to lend another direction to this thread, will our collective good behaviour this year in Galloway give us any sway to possibly getting into Keilder Forest? Now there's a bit of woodland that I could get really lost in

Austin, your next task, should you care to accept it is . . . . .

I actually approached kielder first. They have outsourced their event management. The company concerned gave a guarded yes but then imposed 2 unacceptable conditions - party of 10 and a 5 mph speed limit. Plus a few of £50 per bike. They also pointed me towards a big enduro club and UKGSer who organise a major enduro event in June. Fee for that event was £200 IIRC. I gave up as not at all what I wanted.

    Re: XRV Galloway Forest Video

What a cracking advert for XRV. I am sure the commission will be chuffed with the DVD. As I said before, I live 500 yards from commission land and there have been a few times I have chased youngsters on there bikes on my quad ( no mess but they never shut gates into fields etc ). What you'se have done can only help reasure the commission that there are plenty of responsible bikers out there.
If you'se do return to these parts take a google look at Scaur Glen and Shinnel Glen, these two glens are joined by commission roads ( I have access to gate keys through shooting interests ). As mentioned in another thread this would be a cracking TAR and easy TRACK run for those not as handy off road. I would be willing to help with this run and maybe even a food stop at my place ( half way ).
    Stay safe Russ
