    awesome. I;m also from SA but now living in London. I think this is one reason why I love the AT so much, it's in my blood.

    What was the trailer originally designed for ?

    Do you think it is a SA specific design or something we might have an equivalent for here in UK ?

    That there is a very common occurance in SA, how do I know this because I lived there for 28 year

    Loads of interesting trailers all shapes and sizes, they have been around in SA as long as I can remember - I am going on 33 now

    Also had the smaller one and brilliant for camping if you don't have a pickup(or what we refer to as a "bakkie") Just throw all your stuff in random order into the trailer, close the lid and off you go. Except for space on roads and parking can't really see why that concept has not taken off in the UK.

    Just bought a trailer, but as Maverick says, not much imagination here.

    Thinking of getting a Disabled transporter with hydraulic rear ramp, to carry bike and camping kit , for EURO forrays.
