My first post to these forums, so thought I'd just try a few photos from last years summer road trip to the North Cape (Nordkapp) in Norway. First photo is of yours truly in the far north (Finmark),



and the second is of my travelling buddy, in the fjords west of Bergen.



Even in June there are still 2 metre high snow banks beside the road, although it is warm enough to pottle along in just jeans. (And yes, he's packing some lead weight in those panniers and forgot to preload the rear shock!)

Nice photo's and hope to head out that way next year! Iceland is also an option which we are looking at.

C'mon, that route isn't nearly obtuse enough. I hear Cape Town is on the way to Kathmandu...
