After a late night, clocks changing, etc, etc I managed to get out on the bike about 11.30AM. I don't know why I bothered as the roads were full of twists and turns, there was no traffic to speak of, the sun was shining and the scenery was just a distraction.
View from the Thornilee picnic site.
From there up to Innerleithen and over the hill to St Marys Loch for a coffee and a blether with a few biker chappies.
Down the side of the loch.
Then across towards the Ettrick valley.
Forest roads, not me sir, just parked there!
I don't know how I got here, must get the satnav looked at.
Onward to Eskdalemuir and along the back road through Castle o'er forest to Langholm.
Water shortage, what water shortage?
A coffee in the cafe at Langholm and down the A7 home, 116 miles and never more that 45 miles from my door.
