Fantastic stuff there Andy, thanks for sharing.

Really enjoyed that Balloon vid, some absolutely cracking scenery... tell me though, did he just land that balloon on that trailer! :O if he did then that must take some bloody skill!

We do it all the time here. The weather is kind enough to let us play trailer landings are the norm; as these huge baskets weigh the best part of 650kg or so, the crew are very happy when we plop it on the trailer

The basket in the vid is our 'little' one...8 pax max.....our biggest takes 28

I noticed they were quite close together, what kind of control do you have over these, i thought it was just up and down (i am a numpty though and know nothing about them!)

    Re: Turkey touring 2012

We have bugger all control apart from up 'n' down...BUT, here the wind is variable at different heights, which means we can 'steer' the balloon into the valleys to a certain extent. Still, with up to 100 balloons it's bloody hard work! We have 2 radios and keep in contact with the pilots and crew in our company, but we can also speak to any balloon in the area...There's a reason we get quite well paid here

    Re: Turkey touring 2012

Apologies in advance; I couldn't decide which pic I liked best, so here's the lot

Went on a quick tour up toour local volcano yesterday. the lake is just starting to melt now...

The weather changes quickly in the mountains; There's a volcano in there somewhere!
