Excellent trip and makes me even more excited about my trip in Sept.
Vibration looks like a good source and keeps you legal, which I understand can be tricky to accomplish and result in severe punishment if you don't!
Based on yr report we will do RB5 and RB10.
Looking forward to more updates on your trip!
    Cheers
    Andy

They will be the perfect bike for these trails

We worked hard on some sections due to the excess weight of the bikes and us plus our gear - I weighed it all up and we were running 400kgs (bike wet, luggage gear etc, kitted rider)

We were discussing that this would be ideal for smaller bikes but the liasons and road sections would be extremely taxing and we both settled instantly on the 690s. It was a no brainer really

If you can get away with not camping that will lighten your load too

It was an awesome trip and an excelent route

Thanks. We won't be camping. Tried it once and too much stuff to take plus loads of hassle compared to bed and brekkie.

    Thanks again
