Maverick managed to get hold of some Dakar stickers. I'll ask him to get in touch. I think they were about £4

Thanks Lootch/ Maverick, but after seeing Maverick's I've kinda gone off the idea

Just kidding, I may get one, depends on whether Buster's get their finger out and get me a bigger screen (they sent one for an RD07) I've got an RD03 and the screen's only 8" tall (the stickers are 12" tall).

Here is my 98 machine, sans centrestand and one bar endweight...

What it does have however is a Remus Grans Prix exhaust, Powerbronze smoked flip up screen, and a nifty home made scottoiler(steel cylinder, spring loaded piston, 2 valves and a tube, and it works).

I will shortly be replacing trip computer (paperweight) for Garmin GPS.

That's a good looking twin you got there, older ones are best in my opinion.

Costa mult motoarele in romania? eu am plecat din tara din '99 si nu mai stiu cum sint preturile. Locuiesc in belfast in irlanda de nord si my 99 twin e cal de munca, courier.

Cind ma intorc in tara vreau sa cumpar inca unu sal tin pentru vacanta.

Greetings from Canuckistan. Following pic is of my '99 RD07. Paint scheme appears to be a '98 but the origonal title from Germany tells me its a '99.
Yes, a German riders misfortunate crash in NW British Columbia is how I aquired this bike. He was ok, and it must have been hard for him to abandon his bike to the lodge owner, but i can assure you it went to a good home. After sourcing parts from ebay.uk, ebay.de and African Queens it was ready to roll. I matched the metalic green from a '77 Ford.
The nice people at the Alberta vehicle registries slipped it in. Go figure.
I really..really enjoy riding this bike and it tends to get a lot of attention wherever i go with it. With my other ride being A '93 gspd I am literally torn apart as to which bike i favour most.

    More pics

Wayne posted some pics on another forum, so I had to copy him.
I posted a shot of my newly acquired AT a month ago in the photo section but it's more appropriate here.
My AT came to me by way of a Swiss traveler selling it to a guy in California. The Dude gave up getting it registered through the CA Department of Motor Vehicles and sold it. This may be the only instance I like the CA DMV.
