    Advanced Riding Techniques Wiki

I've added an article in to the Wiki http://www.xrv.org.uk/wiki/index.php/Riding from Mick Wheeler and IAM examiner detailing some of the things he sees when testing people. Very useful for reading.

I like his attitude, good article.
3 Africa Twins/280,000 miles. If it's happened to one of mine, it's gonna happen to one of yours.....eventually.

1 Varadero/17,000 miles ridden (of 40,000 miles on the bike), it's all still new to me!

Sorry, but no disrespect to Mr Wheeler and I am not in any way taking away from the article's good intention's but the piece would be more constructive and a bit more user friendly if it was more concise and more to the point.I found the piece waffleing and confusing.

Most experienced riders would only have to read the start of each point and know what he means but less experienced rider's would need image's to help in this format.

I found that if you click on his name in the article it takes you to his website.
On his site there are some short Video clips.

    These were interesting.

I don't think it's meant for beginners. I think it's meant for those about to take an IAM test. I found it very useful as I'm just about to take my test, but as you say it won't mean a lot to anyone not familiar with the terminology.
After you've read the blue book may be.

However that article was just the starting point. If you think there should be something mroe there for beginners then go and start something on the Wiki and we'll all chip in.
