Two weeks later I rode it again I came across 7 Paris Dakar stickered -up, winched-up, tractor-tyred >>> 4x4 types. (they had driven from Essex to wreck our little lanes)

(I had never seen any other car/tractor on it in the last two years)

The once nice boggy lane had turned into a total mess.
The leader had a copy of my ride report (It was on his dashboard) .

I witnessed (and took pics) of them winching off trees as well as having a tug-of war (to see how much of a total fergin mess they could inflict I suppose

1gear1brake : you rode on part of it, it was then not too bad, it is NOW totall joke for ALL users, it is now under threat of a permanent TRO (its currently a voluentry restriction (winter) BUT even that gets ignored !

Sorry for the rant, but lets use our heads to TRY and look after whats left.

Blimey, that really sucks. It's such a shame that we can't all work together

If any of you're on the western side of Dorset I'd love to come along for some riding. I'm only an hour from Portland and it'd give me the push to mount those TKC's I've had for a year Probably!!

Hmm odd you should say that I asked about joining the Southampton based TRF lot who directly said I would not be able to join them with a TA since it was too big and heavy for green laneing and I should buy a 125-350 if I considered joining them.
But if you venture anywhere near Southampton i'll gladly join you..

    HOOKY:
It is odd you saying that since usually it's the 4x4 drivers that blame the bikers for damaging and carving up the paths. I suggested to my brother who is a 4x4 driver perhaps I could join them next time they go green laneing on my TA to be told I wouldn’t be welcome since the bike would cause too much damage and it’s the bikers fault paths get closed because of the ruts they leave.
(Have they ever looked behind after a heard of 4x4 go down a path I wondered?)

Hmmm....I emailed the TRF directly regarding suitability of bike and rider and they replied with I will be fine to join as they have guys on 1200GS's who manage, just go along to your local branch' next meet and see if you want to join after that.

So im gonna do just that . Think I will go to the Dorset branch rather than the Southamption branch based on what you just said though .
