Not quite non stop as we had to get 2 ferries, Douglas - Heysham then down to Dover - Calais and home, Münster Germany, took about 20 hours, 1060 Kms and one hell of a sore ....
    Airhawk for next one

    Re: Longest non stop ride.

52 hrs on the RT from Darlington to Madrid with a stop at friends in france for breakfast for 3 hrs. And then back up to Belgium a couple of days later. I drank lots of coffee during that trip!

Should have been a lot less to Madrid but the weather was that bad down through france I had to get off the motorway as the rain was bouncing up to visor height and I was getting overtaken (nearly taken out) by lorries that could see above it but not see me in it!

Not a pleasant experience but one to remember!

    Re: Longest non stop ride.

National Rally this July - 900 miles give or take, nearly all on B roads, in the rain, through the night (slept an hour on a pub floor), using a MAP - not a GPS, then another 40winks at Taunton Svcs on the way home. Had a bath, demolished a roast n slept 12 hours.

Will I be entering next year? YOU BET!

    You have me confused.

    1, your location says Cornwall

    2, National was in Dartmoor

3, you rode 900 miles, by map

Our National was in September, Not July.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Prefer maps. Nothin like spreadin the map out on the pub table planning tomorrow's route whilst in the Alps. Got a MP3 plugged into the Autocom for tunes!

I confess I am sad to say, it was my first visit to Bletchley Park and although the site was shut, I was too tired to look round anyway. Heard rumours it's in financial difficulty: a crying shame. in many other countries it'd be a national treasure.

But then again, in bullsh1t reality it was the Americans who siezed the Enigma and cracked the code - what was the film? U(boat)71?
