that must be why I get through 10lbs per week.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Sounds a bit odd, but try eating a banana half an hour or so before your test. I didn't usually eat bananas that often, but someone suggested this to me when I was doing my training and for some reason it seemed to chill me out a bit and helped to keep me alert and energised (apparently there's something in them that has this effect and they release energy slowly helping to prevent fatigue). Seemed to help on my test as well. If I'm going for a long ride now I usually eat a banana before I leave or take one or two with me for this reason.

    That's a lot of bananas!

    Just looked it up:

seems there actually is something to it. I should make more of an effort and eat more of them when I'm not on the bike.

Lots of good practical advice already covered and you don't need any more to remember. I liked Meljordan's advice - I'll probably try some of that myself - the chilling advice though - should be high up your list. The test is a spot check to see you're safe on the road, that's all. Chill, be yourself and ride like you're taking the instructor's ten-year-old daughter to school
