If you've got a dirt bike that you enjoy offroading and not yet joined the TRF, read page 18/19 of this months TBM and see what fast ones the ANTI'S are trying to pull now.

Ok, I've been drinking, but I have no idea what you're on about? I've ridden competition offroad up here in Scotland but what exactly is the TRF? And the TBM? Are they not pop groups from the 80's?
Perhaps less drink on my part next time I surf, but I'm sure this post means very little to the majority on here? Would you like to expand on this a bit please?![]()

L.Port - I can guide you to a corner shop that stocks it!!
Haven't got the mag yet, but I'll guess at the Cambrian Mountains "group" and a set of TRO's with conditions that are very unlikely to be met!
Here we go then;
"The case of the Somerset Two"
It seems from the story that 2 riders were quite legally using a restricted byway in Somerset, a byway allegedly whose use was ok'd by the councils rights of way dept. On the route they were stopped by a member of the public who noted their registrations and informed the police.
The riders then had a home visit from the Police followed by a court summons, in fact on the eve of the FIFTH court appearance the Crown Prosecution Service decided to not proceed with the case.
So the riders lost time/money over a situation that should never have arisen in the first place.
The riders were not Trail Riders Fellowship members and apparantley had difficulty getting legal representation at a realistic cost.
Whereas, it is pointed out in the write up that if they were TRF members they would have had access to Rights of Way experts from the start.

Its one of the best reasons for TRF membership - access to legal help with FACT not idea behind it. £40 for "Legal Insurance" ? Works for me.......
