Intercom a good idea to give her some confidence, we talk more on the bike than we do on the sofa

I put my wife on the back of the bike the day after I passed my full bike test. But now with the TA it's a bit more comfy 2 up on a 600 rather than a 125 .
On the Subject of Top boxed I found it easier to fit Panniers to the TA if you have pillion since the top box seems to push them too far forward and you end up straddling the tank which isn’t too nice when you need to break suddenly.

thanks for replies........ bandit, got a nady pmc-3x ( tbh its had mixed reviews from total cr.p to very good ) i found it to be excellent right up to 70mph no problem.. nice and clear.......couldn`t shut her up it was half price at the time ( paid about 35 quid all in with p+p ) and its got built in fm radio!! ( works well too ) hope that helps you out. will dig out receipt for company for you ok.

Well done for getting the missus into biking. Next step get her on the front! A word of caution - I often end up on the back holding my better half's handbag! The TA's not so bad but sitting on the back of my old Buell was silly - a back seat the size of a postcard and no grabrails. Sheeeeeit!

my @ is silver........didn`t travel that far up. mainly up around caerphilly / blackwood / newbridge area. it was only a `taster` for her. sorry stanbloke can`t make 28th( working ) but will keep an eye on future rideouts in area. cheers.
