    Ultraseal/Slime/etc

I'm considering putting this stuff into my tyres and am wondering what happens when I want to lower tyre pressures for offroading, and then pump them back up again, and so on ad infinitum.

Would there be a problem doing this, i.e. would the stuff leak back out as I drop the air pressure or is it not an issue at all ?

I used GOOP (or GLOOP) on a trip down to spain before and never had any problems with adjusting the tyre pressure as it stays liquid in the tyre if you think you'll loose it when you adjust pressure put the valve at the top of the wheel the liquid will settle at the bottom.
That said i will not use any of these wonder potions again, they state for the life of the tyre but it rotted the valves out on my bike and left me stranded on another local trip. I'm happier now that i wired in a second power socket and now carry a 12v compressor for emergencies if i go anywhere long distance

I use ride on sealant and have had no problem letting air out and re-inflating.....as jason said just make sure the valve is at the top

Jaysis, keep the valve on top, I'm not with it at all today
I already carry a compressor and just thought I might try this in case of small punctures. Thanks guys!

I swear by Slime, always carry a bottle and their compact compresser in the top box, excellent. Top tip that valve at the top too!

I have used it a lot in road bikes and it works well ,but it will not seal a compression punture if your offroad and these are the most common ,also makes one hell of a mess ,either a spare tube and/or puncture repair kit is best
