Hi guys,
took my theory and hazzard perception yesterday.
PASSED
48 out of 50 on theory and about 85% on hazzard perception.
Have managed to get a test booked for three weeks time (before it all changes!).
Wish me luck

Yes, I had been on a scooter for about two and a half years before upgrading to gears etc!
Been on the Vara now for about four months (love it so much)
Not had any lessons yet, just self taught really.
I am lucky though as my mate is a bike instructor and he's gonna come out with me for a few days before the test.
Slow riding, emergency stop, u-turn etc.
20 odd years since I passed a car test, I forgot what this kind of stress was like !!!![]()
Good Luck,
(But if you'v allready passed your theory then you probably don't need luck, just ride sensibly)

U turns are still my weak point, I have to talk myself through them every time, "head up, look waaaay down the road".
Good luck![]()
Good luck mate, lifesavers, are so important, everyone you miss is a minor fault, and do what freerange says and practice the u-turn until you're doing them in your sleep.I failed twice on that last year.
Ride safe

Good Luck with the test, I failed first time on the U turn so follow everyones advice and practise, practise and more of the same!! force your head to look to where you want to end up not where you're going. keep the revs up and use the clutch.
Easy said, But TRY and relax.![]()
also make sure you cancell your indicator as its an instant fail.....i failed on that the first time but got through the second.....the feeling when your instructor tells you to ride back to the riding school on your own is just awsome as a lot of people on this forum will remember.good luck.
