    Bike safe

Did a bikesafe day with the Cops in Dingwall last Sunday. To embarrased to get a photo.
What a great day we had. Got a different point of view now, good I mean, could this copper (Neil) corner or what, and smooth. Jealous as £$%^.
Got me interested in learning more road craft, not just because I am getting on, but more for self preservation and genuinly intersted.
    Definately recomend it.

The only problem he couldn't help with, one of the guys on the course asked a question about getting overtaken by cars, Neil said he didn't get that very often.

I did one last Saturday with the Met down here, a great day and lots of pointers, now waiting to see if I can get cheaper insurance because of it.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

Did my Bikesafe with Cambridgeshire Police last year. Ride out one to one (with my own Police M/C escort) on the wettest day of the year. However all went well. I definately feel safer and now always put into practice all that was taught. If there is one thing you should do it is the Bikesafe course. Got a certificate but more importantly I received priceless information on how to remain safe. Couldant recomend it highly enough. Dave.

    They're brillant days out.

Happy to book another xrv day towards the end of november if theres enough interest from the southern contingent.

2 venues to chose from: The Ace, or The Warren.

The Warren has some terrific roads and is the best venue for adventure bikes.
Go on you know you want to.

    Re: Bike safe

SWMBO and I have done a bikesafe w/end twice now and not only learnt a huge amount (after 30yrs riding) but had a ball too.

Highly recommended real-world riding. No farting about with rules and regs, just 2 days of making good progress and using techniques to help you relax and enjoy your ride more safely.
