    Mud on the road

I was out and about riding around last week in the good weather when I came round a corner and was confronted with this, I was very lucky I was just taking it easy and not really going for it,

You should have scooped some up for the roses.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

I can do that if i have access to the physical matter. I merely put some on the tip of my tongue and smear some around the left nostril gently. Would even be able to tell you the cow, its age and it's sex

    Re: Mud on the road

Not really acceptable in my opinion. Possibly a bit late now, but the best approach would have been to note the location, date stamped piccies are good too, and notify the Local Authority. They would then just reming "yer man" of his obligations to other road users.

Before anyone gets a bit snitty, I am a farmer and if I had to run a muck spreader up and down a county road and the kit produced this level of deposits, I would make sure at the very least, it had a simple Mud on Road warning sign. OK, this is not a get out and is probably not even legal in this day and age, but in a rural environment, the locals are not going to get too arsey about the technicalities!

When we were growing sugar beet and were struggling in a wet season, I used to have a student almost full time, cleaning the road where we crossed between fields.
