woooo hooo... first proper ride of the year

I had to go up to the shooting range today (just to feel the buzz of a 303 again!) and it meant going over the stiperstones which is a big hill in shropshire.... the snow drifts are still by the roadside and if i stand on the pegs of the @ i was still not as high as them!
What a hoot !! i was able to get all the way to 4th gear and have the rev's well up and have only 20 MPH on the speedo, what a hooot, was out for 4 hours and only spent an hour on the range.... made me grin like an idiot, i love trips when you have no time limit and you can play... the @ was ace in the snow.

i was having a good day, the biggest problem was a guy just along from me was testing a very large calibre american hunting rifle, even with ear plugs in the bang was hurting my chest.... he was a big lad and it made him jump about when he pulled the trigger.

You know the range then ?

hello Paul, yes we are both well.
Hope is all well with you ?
The guitars still get dragged out a fair bit but i am sposed to be getting the caterham ready for an event in april so my fingers seem to be numb all the time now as its bloody cold in the garage.
