Dear Deirdre,
I'm having trouble with self-esteem. I'm 41 and my Trannie is 8.
We have been in a relationship for about a year now and we bonded through the Winter, repeatedly getting wet & slippy together and having safe fun.
Today was a dry-tarmac day in London, cold with blue skies. My Trannie and I went out to play and I was looking forward to putting up a good performance. That's when the trouble arose.
I have to admit that though I love it, the Trannie is filthy and has knobblies. Consequently, young riders on shiny mounts tend to look down on me.
So here's my problem: several times throughout the day I have put huge dents in the self-esteem of these jumped-up squirts, scraped my centre-stand while cornering and been seen wearing an enormous grin.
Is this an unhealthy pursuit? If so, what should I do to prevent it? Do you have a premium-rate phone line I can ring?
Yours,
PDS
