    1150 GS

Took fathers 1150gs for MOT today, god you don't realise how good the Varadero's lights wind protection and riding position is until you ride one of these things. I think it's been about 12mths since i rode it last

Hi mate, agree totally with you regarding the Vara headlights, my Tiger had terrible lights in comparison. I actually scared myself a couple of times, the lights were that bad on the Tiger. I've not tried the BMW but suspect any bike would struggle to match the lights of the Mighty Varadero!

It's a well known fact that the lights on an 1150 Gs are worse then worn out candles, the 1200's are only marginally better.

Heheh, if you want scary try switching from a hid equipped bike onto dads old 500 four with its little 35W glow-in-the-dark-bendy-stick out front. That comes uncomfortably close to might as well not bother.
