Sounds like you need an Ibuprofen bath!!

Back, shoulders and arm/wrist is my bugbear. Bacl I can help with a big ass kidney belt, the rest is down to old age and a problem brought on from too much tractor driving!

You could always check out my review of the putnam seat, apart from the 2 punctures it has helped a lot, looking to maybe rig up something like a putnam sarnie, with a more attractive (each to their own) shepkin top layer, for my summer expedition.

Whatever you do it needs to be secure, you learn that the hard way

Re: Dangers of an Airhawk seat!

    Hi,

The idea of the Airhawk is to have as little air in the cushion as possible, so as you are not rocking around on top of the actual Airhawk. Ideally you are aiming for a few mm before bottoming out onto your seat. The reason for this is so that it doesn't affect seat height and also because the seat works better with less air in and offers the most comfort.

When off-roading it is an idea to use the straps provided so the Airhawk doesn't slip off whilst you are stood up on the footpegs.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks

I think you'll find it's a good idea to use the straps at all times
