Nat Meet 2010 - Sept 9th to 12th Rosedale, Yorkshire.

yes i know its a bit early, please dont throw things at me

but i really do need at least six months to sort out my leave and it seems to take at least six months to plan the meet (no way a judgement, just an observation, i know what its like trying to keep everyone happy!)

couldnt make it to this years in ullapool because of work, it was a bit far for a soft southern coast lazy bugger but i would've made the effort cos scotlands cracking once your there. anywhere who thinks up meat covered eggs and deep fried choc bars is fine by me

We've gone south-west and north-west, so how about somewhere east?

    You mean Norfork?
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE

I think East is the call.

I understand there is a campsite in Epping Forest. I'll investigate.

Or when you said east did you mean even further east?

We tried to find a Scottish site in spitting distance of Hadrian's wall but couldn't.

You ask most sites if 80 bikers can come and most say no.

What about approaching a farmer to use a field for a reasonable bung. Get these portaloos and showers seen at game fairs brought in. Total cost can't be too much split 80 ways. Or can it?

if we're going for skeggy how about the MCN skeggy bike do that they do in butlins every september? i think its usually about £70, this years theme is "skeg-vegas".......oh god. dont know if details for next year are sorted out yet but they would def have room and thunderboxes for 80 if we booked early

I spent some of the weekend at Burleigh Camping Site in St Ives (the one in The Fens).

They'd be up for 100 bikes, I'm sure. They even have a banqueting hall type thingy with benches and tables and a bar.

I can't say the roads are that interesting, though.

On the plus side, they had a field covering a few hundred acres that they let people loose on to bomb around in their cars...
